Although we are constantly taking in requests, these are some of our biggest projects which we are trying to annualize as a tradition.
KENTUCKY MISSION TRIP
June
First Baptist of Spartanburg takes a Mission Trip to the Appalachian Mountains of Kentucky. From there, First Baptist of Spartanburg split and holds over 20 VBS camps across the counties at different churches.
In Summer of 2020, a couple of school districts decided to go completely online. We were able to donate 15 computers to children who had no computers and had been doing their school work from their parent's phones.
BACK-TO-SCHOOL KICKBACK
August
The Tajh Boyd Foundation and Eleos Ministry of Greenville, SC spend time with students of the Nicholton community while also providing food, backpacks, and school supplies.
We assist by having computer raffles as well as previously giving a donation of computers for their tutoring center.
ANDERSON DIAPER DRIVE
September
Boxes of diapers are given out to mothers living in HUD and Section 8 housing such as Belton Woods, Heritage Hill, Caldwell Village. Done as a first come first serve. Over 15,000 diapers in Anderson, SC
